Visit Hongkong

HONG KONG is very much ‘abroad’. Now that the near continent is easily accessible, countries such as France, Spain, Italy seem to merge styles and culture to become one generic Euro-Country. In contrast Hong Kong feels like a foreign country. It also has reminders of a colonial past, so your trip there as well as being a trip to a foreign country is also a trip into the past.

Nami Island,South Korea

Nami Island is a crescent-shaped on top of Cheongpyung Lake.It has a circumference of about 6km and thus,its a tiny island surrounded by chesnuts trees and poplars.

If you are too lazy to walk,you can always rent a bicycle and cycle around the island.

It was previously a deserted island but the popular Korean series,Winter Sonata,which was partly filmed in Nami Island made the island famous.People started going to the island after watching Winter Sonata and South Korea’s tourism industry flourish as many overseas tour agencies brought tourists to visit the film locations.

You need to take a ferry to get to the island.The ride is about 5 minutes.
